Hey guys! I was Caitlin on Spill and was mostly on the group pages as a lurker, but would comment everyone and while. It's a real bummer what happened to spill, but i'm glad people made all these back up sites.

I'm Kal Avera on the site. Never posted much, but loved LDT. I am concerned as to whether Goatsey can transition (with a different name, sure) to whatever is next.

I had never really said anything on the old Spill site, and I was mainly a listener of the reviews, but dammit, I'm here now because I want to throw my support in to say that I am with Korey and with you guys for whatever comes next.

Hello everyone. My name is Marcus Kilgore, or mkluminous on Spill. Got to the site around February 2013 and loved it ever since. Dig the site and the team and as a devoted fan made my way here. I will continue to follow whatever Korey does. He is a seriously talented individual.
May the Spill flow with you

Hi all, I was the BoogieMan on Spill. It's a complete load of fuckery that Hollywood have just cut off Spill like that, not even giving them a chance to do any farewell shows or anything. Anyway, it's awesome that there's this place here, for Spillios to regroup. In the same vein as the guy who kept refreshing only for the page to show up as Hollywood.com, I actually still have a tab open of the Spill forums, which I shall keep open. I was moderately active on the Spill forums, although not as much as a lot of people. I have an interest in movies and other nerdy stuff like comics, and books (although I have loads I need to read), and I also have a bit of an interest in world affairs, or geopolitics, I think it's called. I'm only a casual movie watcher and video game player though.
Oh yeah, I got into Spill sometime in the summer of 2010, after watching a few of their video reviews on IGN.

I knew this would happen by the end of the year. After being banned I still came on the site to listen to the reviews and check on the forum. The forum pretty much became a wasteland without me, but if you banned me or not, I still would have stopped posting since being a troll got boring. Even if I stopped trolling I probably would have been banned anyway. Or would I? I mean, Fungusmonkey banned George for exposing the truth and that was a little weird since George never did anything ban worthy as far as I'm concerned. A forum with mods who give a shit would have banned me long before the great shitstorm (the August 2012 one). I do plan on being myself here and not the troll 21 year old version, so let's just sit back and wait for Korey's new site to open.
By the way, can someone explain to me why Kazma and Snyder were banned on the old forum?

Hey everyone, the name is Carlos. I discovered the spill crew a few years back when I was still in highschool and loved the chemistry these guys had with each other. I never got the chance to participate in the community on the old site but I plan to change that with whatever Korey decides to do next. Also, FUCK hollywood.com! That is all.

God I hate things like this, but since people actually have been to spill it's nice to read how people discovered the site, etc.
+ LunaticLMD from the site. Discovered spill from another member in late 2007, joined late 2009 + Live in NY. Met Korey/Cyrus in April 2013 for their last NY Spill Event + Didn't post a lot, but I have gotten into arguments with Fungusmonkey several times. Really Fungusmonkey? You thought Jeff/Annie Britta/Troy were a better pairing? + Carlyle was my favorite spill member, then Leon when he left. + Regret never going to spill dot con. Leon!
Edit: Typo, no!

Hello, my name is woosp, it has been one of my many names for almost 25 years. Artie Fufkin introduced me to spill, I brushed it off to begin with then moved to Korea to teach Englishee, thats when I started being active so about 4 years ago.
I studied film with hopes of a job in TV, recession fucked that up now I live in Thailand working as a Scuba Instructor. It's a hard life. I like whisky, a good morning dump and cinema of all kinds.

My name and Spillio handle is Shepherd Hendrix.
I'm a freelance illustrator specializing in comics and storyboarding, recently transplanted from Northern California to the vicinity of Sedona, Arizona. I needed to get out of the city to someplace a bit more picturesque and with a slower pace of life.
I discovered Spill late in 2011 through their animated movie reviews posted on YouTube. It was a classic story of budding addiction: watch one... then another... and another.... and another... and so on. Like Ruffles potato chips. Eventually it occurred to me to check out the website and that was it. I was a fan. I didn't post all that often but I listened on and off. The off times aren't a bad thing, really. I'm a cyclic type of person... I overindulge for a while, drop away to something else, then come back later. It's strong testament in Spill's favor that I come back again and again.
I mostly listen to Spill when I work. I like having the background noise that I can listen to with half a mind or with a whole mind when I wasn't busy. I've listened to other podcasts but Spill is the only site that I listen to somewhat consistently. As I said before, I may go away but I always come back. That way, a bunch of 'casts I've never heard can pile up and I have a lot of new material to listen to. Listening to the podcasts, to me, is like eavesdropping into conversations at a family reunion. The talk is always hot and heavy and real. That's the defining word-- REAL. Unscripted, opinionated, thoughtful, loud and brash... real. And lots of laughter. Even more impressive, those qualities were shared with the fans. What other form of entertainment can embrace its fan base in such a way? I was impressed that Korey would spend his money (if I'm correct in that assumption) to travel overseas to party with other Spillios and include them in his podcasts? At such times, I wasn't just listening to Spill-- I was living vicariously through it. I felt as if I were meeting all these wonderful people. It made me want to meet them for real!
That's what I love about Spill. I'm just sorry that I wasn't able to make it to Spill.con or any of the pubcrawls. Being in AZ and a bit closer to Austin, I was hoping to finally hit Spill.con 2014... but... well, so much for that.
I can only hope Korey can manage to pull together something new from the ashes of Spill. Like a phoenix rising. I've contributed to his Kickstarter campaign so I do feel as if I have some stake in that possible rebirth. I'll try not to miss the old Spill form too much but I'm sure Korey's learned a lot from the old site and will put together something leaner and just as entertaining as what came before. I was pretty disappointed to hear that Spill was going away and even more so when the site was shut down before there was any chance for the Crew to say goodbye. I do consider myself lucky to have downloaded some of my favorite podcasts so that I can at least relive the magic from time to time.
But I have to be a grown-ass man about it... stifle the tears and complaints and look forward to what's coming. But I gotta tell ya'll honestly... I do feel a bit lost and bereft. Just seeing the Spill link on my browser toolbar with a different logo just makes me sad. Better delete it and hope for something good to replace it.
Maybe joining this forum and reaching out to other Spillios can ease the loss.
What say you?

MY name is Nick, I was Wrestling Phantom on Spill.
I discovered the reviews on Youtube in 2007, and then joined the site right after they started the podcast's in 2008. One of the first podcast I listened to was the first ACOCO with Korey and Co Host, before Carlyle came on to host the show with Korey, and and Korey and Co-Host started LDT soon after that.
I wasn't too active on the site, despite commenting here or there on some of the podcast's, but It was part of my daily routine. Sad that its gone, but excited to see what the future holds.

Hello!
I was Andrew C on spill and I joined in 2011. I loved the site for quite a few reasons: Korey's dedication, the crew's humor, and especially the community are some. I used to post quite a bit but stopped as life became busier, as it tends to do, but I still stayed tuned to the podcasts whenever I found time. I'm sad about the site ending, of course, but have strong hopes that all will be well soon enough now that Korey doesn't have Hollywood crawling up his ass.
I'm still busy so probably won't be posting here a whole lot, but I signed up because I support anything that will help keep us lost dogs of spill somewhat united until a new site pops up.

Fredric de Afonseca was my user name on Spill.com. Also my real name. I registered on spill and eventually noticed that I was posting under my real name. In the end that was ok though, I am on here like I am in real life so Ive got nothing to gain from the anonymity thing. Man I miss spill being up in full force, right now I am hoping for a good come back from Korey 8) Nice to see you all
