Galaxy Quest: The story of a bunch of actors from a Star Trek-esque show who are mixed up in a real alien story. I thought it was okay. The cast is good, there's some fun moments, and I really like the metaphor of how media touches its fans. I just didn't find the film particularly funny. Still, I can see why the fans love the film even if I don't.

Fright Night 2 (2013). This piece of shit is the follow up to the Fright Night remake starring Colin Farrell. Story about a kid that finds out there is a vampire killing people. Listen to this bullshit. The movie is the exact same story from the original Fright Night and the remake. The main character has never heard of vampires and individuals whom died in the original film and the remake are back to die again under the same circumstances. Same story, same movie, except Collin Farrell is played by a woman with an accent and the location is in Romania or some shit. This is some bullshit, It would have been a fuck you but I enjoyed the estimated ten minutes of footage of hot chicks naked bouncing and giggling and what not. They crow bar the shit in but it is there. Some ole bullshit.

I wasn't even that keen on the last Fright Night remake to be honest. You won't beat the original with 80s synth.

He tells his mom don't let the guy next door in the house, he's dangerous. Next scene, dangerous guy is in the house with his mom drinking wine coolers. I love that movie, thats exactly what my mom would have done because fuck what I say.

Finally got around to watching Riddick. (The Director's Cut)
Pretty good. Some people say that it's far to similar to Pitch Black, but to be honest I fail to see how that's a bad thing. I miss that brand of late 1990's/early 2000's sci fi, and this scratched that itch perfectly.

Hmm. It appears I can't copy and paste images into my reply. Oh well.
Anyway, Mean Streets = 3.5/5.

The Loved Ones - first thing I have watched or weeks, knew nothing about it apart from it was Australian. With a hangover on a bus I liked it well enough. If I had known anything about it i am sure my enjoyment would have less. Did not know where it was going and had a few oocha fucker bits. Is it wrong that i fancy the demented bint in it? could just be the post booze horn...
Rating = a dash of Chainsaw, splash of Mum & Dad in typical ozploitation style. not the best, not the worst. matinee.

Watched The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
It was a High Matinee for me (or a 7/10, if you're into that kind of thing). It was pretty good, but like the 1st one it was dragged beyond reason.

A Haunted House - Super Low Rental/High Some Ol' Bullshit
The first three minutes were funny, but then. . . yeah. . .
Captain Phillips - High Matinee. Nothing really wrong with the movie. The acting was great. It could've been trimmed down, but I heard the real guy was a a-hole so. . .

Dark Skies - an okay movie where things that are supposed to be scary happen, but none of it is actually scary
Low Rental!
